I really don’t understand why #DragonCon doesn’t have more activity on the Fediverse. It seems like this is exactly where Dragon Con folks would most likely congregate.

@ramsey maybe we should try for some sort of meetup?
@eigen That might not be a bad idea to plan ahead for next year. Maybe one of the tracks (EFF, Digital Media, etc.) can host it or do a panel on alternative social media? Some of us would probably need to organize/moderate, though, and I’m not yet willing to throw my hat into the ring for that. I’ve run tech conferences and have spoken at many, but I’ve never been on a panel at #DragonCon, and I’m a little timid about that, for some reason.
