Have you had more problems with your own bank going in the way of what you want to do with your money (e.g. blocking a genuine transfer, wasting your time through emails, calls, verifications) or helping you (e.g. preventing a fraudulent transfer)?
@elduvelle the false positive rate is high but I think that's what you want? Cost of false positive is low while cost of false negative is high.
@neuralreckoning I don't know, the only case where I had a case of fraud happening for a significant was my own bank making a transfer out of my account that I had not asked for 😅 and I had to be the one telling them about that.
The other maybe 2 that happened in my entire life were for minuscule amounts like £2 that were made from Thailand or something and that the bank immediately flagged as fraud and rejected.
On the other hand I feel I have spent days on a few occasions emailing or phoning them and having to prove my identity in diverse, repeating ways, interestingly, always to take money out of my accounts but never when I put money in 🙃
So in my personal experience the bank-generated hassle hasn't been worth it..
