Why are people treating his rants as anything? He has no vested power to rename things like that. Y'all are stupid.
This kind of shit is why his handlers enable this behavior. Periodic demands for performative bootlicking make it easier to keep track of which multinational corporations are aligned with the facists, which makes it easier to determine who will help remove whatever civil rights are going to be inconvenient to maintaining power.

Uninstalled Google Earth, and disabled Maps until they return to using "Lake Ontario", and the "Gulf of Mexico."
Names of internationally accessible features should not be changed at the whim of one person. They don't belong to us.

@404mediaco So far both Waze and OsmAnd continue to label it as Lake Ontario. As I've said in another post (https://social.linux.pizza/@ddgulledge/117184944999613340), I prefer my mapping app to reflect what's on the signage. It makes navigation easier, and thus safer.
