I’m at the Kennedy Space Center to see the launch of the Roman Space Telescope. Less than an hour to go. They are fueling the rockets now. Weather is looking good so far. They just said 70% chance to go from weather.
Sun is up and things are looking good. Exciting!
We also expect to see the boosters land at the space center some minutes after the launch.
@ChrisWalter So did both of them land successfully? I'm a bit confused ... they said it did, but the video showed otherwise?
@hannorein @ChrisWalter I was wondering the same thing.
@steve @hannorein Yes. We could hear the sonic boom from both (which was amazingly loud and sharp) but could only actually see one as the second landed further away (about 12 miles away I think.)
