It's rich people and corporations, using police and military to beat down any resistance to their greed.

@andymouse To speak for myself, I have contributed to the harm, buying things I don't absolutely need, having them shipped to me. I used to fly a lot for work, taking a taxi when I could've walked, etc, etc, a long list. I don't contribute to animal agriculture, but my food is still often wrapped in petroleum products.
It's a process, & we in the rich countries all have a moral imperative to do our bit - changes at home while also demanding change in corporate and government levels. It's both
