I tried it out with Mistral, and to me, it shows you that you have to be very careful with using LLMs to generate data for a domain you don't understand.
Would an actual intelligent system, like most people think LLMs sold as “ai” is, translate the three into four, as there are four letters in the French word for cat?

@gausby I spent too much time thinking "what's wrong with the translation?" I realized early that the french version was nonsense, but it took quite some time for it to click that's what makes it a bad translation.
@reynir yeah. The problem is that it is doing a direct, word-for-word translation, but then the translation doesn't make sense.
If it was actually intelligent, it would perhaps ask for clarification, should I say four letters and translate cat, or should I say the English word for cat contains three letters.
It makes me wonder; what happens then when you say; port this ruby project to python?
