Idunno.
Bashing people who are on your side cuz they aren't doing enough or aren't doing it right, I spoze that's a route to change. Might not be a route to the change you want, tho.
If bashing people is your thing, tho, why not consider aiming at the people who *aren't* on your side?
Or, of course, if you wanna go *deep* radical, try love. It's harder than bashing, but the rewards are better, and you don't have to worry about the route.
@GeePawHill @wilbr how do you know if they're on "your side" though? I would hope that people on "my side" are not full throatedly endorsing cop cities, concealing pandemics, and choosing to not swiftly and decisively handle a coup, and somehow always seem to so unfortunately (but not apologetically) have just the right number of turncoats voting with the fash... Pretty sure they're not on "my side", and these aren't just cosmetic flaws or a couple of unfortunate gaffes.
@RebelGeek99 @wilbr If you try the radical choice I mentioned, you might find that it's much less important to know that.
@GeePawHill @RebelGeek99 mmm, I'm gonna disagree there. I've been meditating in a zen center for a few years now and even that Zen teacher would probably remind me that pouring love and empathy into someone who would turn around and vote for my home to be destroyed may be a little misguided.
Radical compassion, yes, but the stated examples are the kind of thing often presented as "minor differences" which are in fact just more-politically-correct death and destruction. That's not "agree with."
