@cass Real vim is still going despite his attempts to take control.
I didn't know about the DHH thing because I've never switched for other ethical reasons. But, even if people don't care, from a technical pov, the project seems wants is solving solved problems and leaving other solved problems unsolved within Neovim (ex: GUIs) so, they are free to do what they want with open source but it's absolutely pointless, imo.
@fds yeah i don't really understand the specifics of the project/forks, my 1st cs college professor taught us how to use emacs and i haven't switched since
@cass Ah, despite using both and maintaining configs for both. I suspect because I learned vim first, it's my go to when I SSH into a machine but on my local machine I'll flip flop
