The kids I was making coloring sheets for asked the other adult to make a few yesterday and she went to GPT and printed slop.

Unhappiness for everyone.

Draw your own coloring sheets. You can use any paper you want. You just need some kind of writing tool.

Simple shapes for little ones, simple scenes for older kids.

Teach them how to draw their own.

Things we talked about today during coloring sheet time:

- types symmetry
- radians
- diameter
- scale, proportion
- inches
- centimeters
- millimeters
- base 10

Did I "teach" them these things because they were on the curriculum?

No. I did it because conversations about math are good for small talk with kids.

I was listening to a podcast this week and this woman was discussing how her company is able to manipulate what comes up in an AI search result on Google.

Then after the commercial break she started saying she uses AI for "deep research".

I was like "Man, she really can't think clearly."
