Now that the AC's off for the season, if you were wondering about how my box fan cooling down my attic helped things out, in 2025 the whole-house ac ran for 112 hours (nearly all of which was in June and July, 'cause I sorted out the attic fan situation in the first week of August), and this year it ran for 32 hours, and a couple days' worth of that was when we couldn't open the windows 'cause of the wildfire smoke

I'll need to get a pic of this 'cause it's literally just a box fan held to an attic window frame with crudely-fabricated wooden clamps (initially duct tape), a smart plug and a zigbee thermometer
