I'm also convinced that Dolly transcends these critiques. She led by example, using her influence to raise money to get books to children, to get people vaccinated, to speak up on behalf of queer fans and on behalf of BLM and so much more.

I am sad to live in a world where she's gone. I wanted her to be here forever. I guess in many ways she is, and always will be.
