It’s carnage in my prep kitchen as I finish packaging 50 kg of pickles, podis, ladoos, and namkeens. I have lemon pickles, dried mango pickles, Andhra red chili chutney, carrot radish pickles, green chili pickles and have suddenly found myself very popular among my friends.

And not surprised you're popular - you're sticking your logo pic on some jars!

@SRDas there’s actually two reasons for the branding. First, I send a lot of these to my donors, pro bono lawyers, contractors and volunteers. I was declaring $0 in fundraising expense on my form 990, so asked my board if I could spend a little money on pickles.
Secondly, I give a lot of these away to local chefs and my friends (as well as people whom I want to get to know). They don’t all really understand what I do. Many of them wonder if perhaps I’m trying to sell them something. I explain that it’s leftover work swag and then explain briefly what I do and I’m not sure they all get it, but they do get that I’m not trying to sell them weird pickles.
