For those following the kitten saga:

The one at the front is friendlykitten, the one at the back is scaredykitten. Their official human probably gives them different names.

Last weekend scaredykitten got over his fear of us to spend a total of about three hours sitting on us and being stroked. Yesterday he came into our garden and came close enough for stroking until his brother came over (then he hid in the bush that cats seem to like hiding in). I nearly scared him because he was so intent on a pigeon on the fence that he didn't hear me come into the garden or see me until I scared the pigeon away. I went in a big circle around him to make sure I was in his field of view but not close, so he jumped but didn't run away.
