@idzie mushrooms are as always amazing and slime molds are surprisingly intelligent, but the humble lichen is vastly underrated. I absolutely love looking at tree trunks after rain and seeing the beautiful smears of bright blooming lichen all up and down them. I'm not sure why but it just makes me happy
