I mean look, I am not a member of the Iranian government. But lets say I was, and the US has been attacking my country for months. I can't very well bomb Mar-A-Lago, but I'm not going to lose this war the normal way either.
My best strategy would be to take Trump right to the midterms and after he gets washed say "future US presidents should take this as a warning; we will end Trump's career, and we can end yours too."
That's the smart play. So they're prolly doing that.
Whatever you think about Iran or its government, they're not stupid right? If you can see that this just gets worse for Trump every day, from halfway across the world in your living room, the Iranians can see it too.
It just doesn't make a lot of sense for them to change the equation when the equation is resulting in them WINNING everything, on every front.
If this drags on for like another year, the US might have to withdraw from the MENA entirely - nobody will want us there cause we bring Iranian missiles.
It makes no sense for them to change anything. So they won't.
