These are Blokees Defenders Astral Rally.
They are little snap together minifigs.
Blokees has been making transformers and other licensed toys. This is their first original line of characters.
I got a case of them, and will open and assemble one every day or every few days.
@ajroach42 Can't wait to get these!!
@benbrown They're super neat! I'm really impressed.
Here's the first one I unboxed, assembled (standing next to a Kumiai-Ki keshi) They're about 2 inches tall, and come in *many* little pieces. Takes about five minutes for me to assemble one.
They have great articulation, and lots of wonderful little details.
Neat toys!
I also found this other mystery box.
Here it is opened up along side a super 7 Czarface, also from a mystery box.
This (above) is the first time I've publicly shared photos of our upcoming Mystery Box packaging for the @MountainTownToys multi-color kumiai-ki action figures. These will be available at physical retail, and potentially on our website sometime this month.
Pictured here is a quick prototype for the retail pack these will ship in, as a case of 16 mystery colored robot toys.
And here's Kumiai-Ki standing with his new Blokee buddy, and his soft rubber little brother.
Anyway, I got the Blokees for myself, but I'll be reaching out to them about selling at retail.
The Kumiai-Ki mystery boxes are probably the packaging we'll use for the unpainted, multi-color Kumiai-Ki action figures.
We've also got cardbacks for the single color and painted action figures (as seen in the attached photo.)
I'm so excited to have the packaging for these toys finished.
Sundog and I have been working really hard to bring these to life, and it's super exciting to be so close to getting them into distribution.

Generally, I'm not a fan of Mystery Boxes.
But!
About a quarter of the Kumiai-Ki action figures we've made so far are one of a kind, entirely unique, and made in a way that is not repeatable (the way two colors of plastic blend together in our equipment is unpredictable and basically impossible to do the same way twice.)
And I think it's kind of neat to take this format that's usually used as like a slot machine to chase the 1/1000 figures so that they can be flipped online and instead flip it around so that pretty much every box is one of a kind.
Anyway, that's my Mystery Box posting for today.
I'll open another Blokee tomorrow, probably.
