So today I am heading to the hospital for a hernia operation. I did warn you. I've been living with this condition since April and it is *not* nice. Zero stars. Would not recommend. I'm hoping this procedure puts it right. And also I am not looking forward to having an operation under general anaesthetic and all the pain and recovery period that comes after. If you're so inclined, please send good vibes. Also, big thank you to NHS.
I can't believe I posted that just after my surgery. I was super out of it. One week on, I am starting to feel like a human being again.
This week, I've learned something important: Naproxen is available over the counter. That stuff is gooooood.
@torgo glad to hear you’re feeling a bit better!
@torgo hope it's nothing major
@torgo take care Daniel. Hope you recover quickly.
@torgo Wishing you the best and speedy recovery. 🤞
@torgo I had my first surgery (hip) a year or so ago (last previous time in hospital was tonsils out at about 10) and I was understandably a little anxious before too. I was amazed at how well it went, how fantastic the staff was. sending all good vibes for the surgery! I hope it helps alleviate your pain and your recovery is quick and good. NHS++
@torgo wishing you well with a quick recovery!
@torgo all the best and good vibes!
@torgo may your internal organs run straight and true
@torgo good vibes heading your way. You’re in excellent hands, just take care of yourself after :)
@torgo good luck and even better recovery!
@torgo hope both the procedure and the recovery go smoothly and with a minimum of pain ❤️
@torgo good luck with it all!
