The defamation (?*) case against Bomber Bradbury has been adjourned until Thursday next week. Bradbury is representing himself.
Weirdly, the Free Speech Union has offered their assistance and it sounds like Bradbury has accepted. That sort of rules out any involvement of the FSU shills Simeon Brown appointed to the Medical Council.
* This case has so many suppression orders that it's hard to know what's happening.

Hmm. Maybe I spoke too soon? This case is going to fascinating, not just much for the details of the case itself, but what it will tell us about the landscape of free speech advocacy in Aotearoa and how it might be changing.

My impression so far is that they're a corporatist front, whose public comments intentionally treat censorship, and anti-monopoly enforcement in the media industry, as if they're the same thing. YMMV.

My impression is that they're an insurance organisation rather than a charity and they seem to have a right-leaning bias.
