My YouTube watch history, while my devices are off, keeps filling with minecraft videos all from 1 creator who I've never heard of.
I've reported the channel for spam but doubt they'll do anything.
Wondering if I need to change my password for that Google account though...
it's somewhat reassuring to see that Google actually doesn't know some really basic shit about me.
@alexisbushnell I would, as well as signing out all devices. Also 2FA should be a given.
@gavin57 just checked my security stuff & my account is logged in to an iPad in the UK... and I have never owned an iPad in my life! Such a weird thing to do with somebody's password!
@alexisbushnell That’s weird. It could be that they compromised the account and are waiting for a reason to use it.
I’d also check there’s nobody else signed into your password manager, just in case it wasn’t that they compromised. There has been a few breaches lately.
