@Em0nM4stodon I did not know #Taskmaster yet, a couple of months ago. I do now. It is great.
@bammerlaan I binged watched all the series last year. Taskmaster is amazing to take a break from the sorrow of the world.

@SpaceLifeForm I need it to cope with the world. It's emotional support tv for me 
It depends upon what you watch. I got tired of the ads and cut the cord. I only watch youtube.
@SpaceLifeForm What I watch has no ads. When I say "tv" I just mean the tv show format of media. I only watch media on my computer. Which is entirely ad-free :)

@Em0nM4stodon Barry (2018). Just learned it existed less than a month ago. Watched it all, loved it. Especially loved Hank. I felt so bad for Barry.
@Em0nM4stodon Heated Rivalry: the script, acting, editing, music, production values. And a beautiful story. And the allies! (In particular, Kip’s dad - minimal screen time but quietly impactful.)
@Em0nM4stodon Last Samurai Standing (released Nov 2025) and Straight to Hell (released April 2026), both on Netflix.
The former gives a decent if fictional insight into the zaibatsu families/corporations and the damage they wreaked on Japan's transition into the modern age. The second was fascinating for being based on a real person.
