Working on a hands-on piece on WSLC and it just hit me: this is a way to build hybrid Windows/Linux code. Take a Linux container with gRPC or REST APIs, use Windows' NuGet WSLC APIs to load and run it, with defined ports for API access, and call them from the same Windows app.
Revolutionary.
I know this is extremely geeky, but it's one of the biggest changes to Redmond's developer strategy I've seen in the 30 plus years I've been covering it.
I mean, this is a DCOM-level change.
