What's your favorite novel centered around music?
My first is probably Richard Powers's _The Time of Our Singing_, but a very close runner-up would be Frank Conroy's _Body and Soul_.
I know y'all have others I've either forgotten or never read. What are they?

Ian Rankin's Standing in Another Man's Grave is named after his initial mishearing of Jackie Leven's Another Man's Rain.
I highly recommend the book and the song.
