Feel so bad that I set off the smoke detector. Blue hid in his crate for 2 hours. At least he has a safe place.
And the chicken turned out great. I’m just not sure how to air fry chicken in my oven without releasing massive clouds of smoke when I open the door.
@platypus this happened to us the other day. My SIL taught me that oil on the pan is the culprit. Any kind of inert oil + chicken fats smoke at low temps. She uses parchment paper and it helps keep puddles of oil from forming and smoking.
