starting taking photos of a bunch of stuff i'm selling - will post in this thread what i've got as I go (also chucking them on ebay/facebook)
@decryption Facebook… brave man
@mittyoz the guy that bought my supermicro server last night was a really nice guy, ended up staying at his place for almost 2 hours talking shit - I think we are friends now, lol
@decryption I sold all my Doctor Who books to a similar kind of guy. Amazingly not everyone are lowball tire kickers but most are I think lol
@mittyoz really depends what you're selling - niche nerd items like dr who books and servers with 90 HDD bays are only of interest to dorks like us, so we like them, hahah
two aruba 2930F (JL256A) 48-port gigabit PoE switches, with 4x 10GbE SFP+ ports, basically new, hardly used
$300 ea + postage (or pick up from me in 3340)
@decryption they seem a bit pricey for what I see on eBay 😉, I seen listing less than $250 NZD
@madkiwi how much to ship it to Australia? (and is it the 48-port PoE? JL256A can be 24-port as well as 48 stupidly)
@decryption they’re in Australia, sadly no shipping price to NZ
rode AI-1 usb audio interface & rode m1 xlr dynamic mic, both basically mint condition, hardly used, yet another failed podcast
mic - $100 posted
usb interface - $120 posted
take em both for $200 all up
Seiko 5 Automatic 7S26-02J0 watch - very good condition. Haven't worn it in about a decade. Forgot I even owned it, has been sitting in a drawer for a very long time. Still works!
I think it's a really nice looking watch, but I wear an Apple Watch now
Had a look on eBay, cheapest one is around $250. This one can be yours for $180 posted.
JVC HR-S7950 VCR - got this to digitise a few tapes for my parents. It did the job very well. S-Video output and built-in time base correction, about as good as you'll get without going sicko mode with RF capture. Imported from Europe, has a 2-pin power cable. Power supply is multi-voltage, just need a cheap travel adapter.
$700, no postage for now. I don't trust Aus Post not to play footy with it. Happy to drop it off to you anywhere in VIC.
Hauppauge USB-Live2 video digitizer - has S-Video input. I actually had two of these (so I could digitise two tapes at once), left one at my parent's place. This one has never been used. $50 posted.
