I was reading some summaries of Jem & the Holograms and Josie & the Pussycats storylines today and I got to wondering:
In DC/Marvel/mainstream English-language superhero-type comics, has there been a character who performs stand-up comedy? Like, superhero's secret identity is as a successful comic?
@brainwane not exactly your scenario, but in The Watchmen (DC) the story has a superhero who’s secret identity is The Comedian.
Related to your girl group band as cover, you might check out the anime Bubblegum Crises. The cover for the group is a girl band called Priss and the Replicants. The series has many other references to Blade Runner.

@brainwane If there is a comedian superhero in Marvel / DC / Image / etc. universes, there should be a life-size cardboard cutout for promos of their graphical novel at bookstores:
