@danyork Strange, I see your toot but the bot (which is on the same Mastodon instance) did not see it. (The bot works, I just tested.) A strange problem specific with mastodon.social ?

That IS strange. Why would it matter what instance I am on?
@danyork I suspect (but the ActivityPub standard is silent about that) that toots are more datagrams than reliable messages…
