People who use GNU Emacs to work on Python things, I'm curious what Python LSP server you use (and optionally why, and optionally whether you use Eglot or lsp-mode).

Coming as an LSP consumer outside of Emacs:

`ty` and `ruff` (and `uv`) are owned by OpenAI now, and have being slopproducts for some time already.

I was about to go back to `pyright`, but people here mentioned `zuban`, which worked fine while I had a need for Python LSP server.

Oh, that looks nice. Do you also happen to have any alternativ to `ruff` and especially `uv` as well? I like how fast and well they work (so far at least), but I really don't like the OpenAI part.

For `ruff` one might go back to tools like `autoflake` (or check if the `zuban` implements the required LSP features).
While for `uv` sadly no, there is no modern alternative (as far as I know).
