@infobeautiful I work across from a school and I can confirm this is pretty accurate. What makes it worse is that the school is up a road which is *technically* wide enough for two cars, but is always parked up enough that only one can ever get through. Absolute scenes.
@infobeautiful Well this is really weird and alien to me. I either walked or took the bus to every school I've ever attended. And that includes when I first went to school, aged 4, though I think maybe my mother was walking with me then!

@infobeautiful That’s interesting. I read that something like this exists in the U.S., because walking home from school is considered unusual there. Here in the Czechia, I’ve never noticed lines of cars waiting to pick up kids like that. What about other European countries, Mastodon users?
