@janriemer @duke_of_germany I'll be completely honest I haven't. If there is something I am missing to where they aren't actually suggesting LLMs will make it faster to make rust better I am all ears.
I am just tired of people constanly trying to use LLMs everywhere. That's the classic blunder of social media though on my part sorry.

The policy proposal is actually Anti-AI:
- a ban on most (not all!) generation of code with LLMs
- using LLMs for private review of code is always allowed
- (a lot more very specific points I won't summarize here)
It is nuanced to an almost painful degree.

I occasionally get sucked into this "social media herd mentality" as well. It's sometimes good to just take a step back.
