@EUCommission @gerrymcgovern "Green" is such a silly word to employ... it could mean whatever you want. It has no real scientific meaning, so it could be used for propaganda, of course, but it shouldn't be used for serious policies. And EU's policies should be serious.
Digital technology is not sustainable because it's based on extractivism, i.e., mining, and mining is an unsustainable activity by definition.
You can argue that digital is "convenient", or "necessary", but not that it's "green"

@thibaultmol As wildfires are getting larger, more frequent, and more destructive, we have defined a new approach to wildfire risk management.
Among others, we propose strengthening its support for ecosystem-based wildfire prevention measures, including structured approach to climate adaptation for Natura 2000 sites.
We also want people to be more aware of its risks and to involve citizens in wildfires preparedness.
