This is a good approach. @marginalia's code is currently on GritHub (giveupgithub.org!). But if they move it elsewhere all they need to do is redirect this URL to the new forge, and any links to it will still work. Same if they decide to self-host a forge, then find it too distracting, and move back to third-party hosting.

I'm trying to inform the @marginalia search engine that my blog exists at;

But I just keep getting blank pages. I'm using Fennec, a browser based on mobile Firefox, installed from F-Droid.

@strypey I put it in the crawler queue manually. Git is just one of the paths, email or (this) works as well 🙂

I did actually initially have git.marginalia.nu point to a self-hosted forge (which is why I have that redirect), but it was such a headache to maintain that I migrated everything over to github several years back.

Might move it somewhere else sometime, since GH has kinda fallen apart since, but not decided on where.
