Well, out of the blue one of my applications stopped being able to resolve domains with libcurl... I'm not really clear on what's wrong, nothing really changed, unless the updates around 8.20 broke something for me specifically.

Looks like my distribution re-enabled the thread-resolver feature for the version that's the most likely culprit.
