before post creation is a stroke of genius:
does not affect existing posts (because it would be pretty crazy if mastodon were to retroactively modify post contents based upon a later policy decision huh)
you cannot edit it out or fix the formatting
sorry i didn't realize at first that:
(1) this is obviously not a bug
(2) mastodon is making a formatting policy decision
(3) how is there no FEP for "the literal fucking input box"
is this technically not "breaking the web" because user input is not considered an API????????
