#ScribesAndMakers May 10 - If your project will be part of a series, do you know that before you start?
I write for a living so nothing gets to be part of a series unless it sells and the initial sales justify a least one sequel.
Any stand-alone I write is intended to flow into sequels or a series—but ever since "Iron Sunrise" I've done my best not to prematurely truncate a series under my readers. (I failed with "Neptune's Brood" b/c my US publisher was taken over and trashed by idiots.)
