Polls on Mastodon are such a great tool.
Picture 1: When writing my last script I mentioned Gerrymandering, and I immediately thought, "Do my viewers know how that works?", so I asked you guys, and 210 replied with a majority saying I should explain it.
Picture 2: I am glad I did, because it made it into my latest video, and now people are commenting positively about that.

@randahl Many Australians just can’t believe the corrupt, perverted electoral processes of the USA.
It’s no wonder that suddenly kleptocrats are stealing their national wealth. That neo-nazis control their public discourse. That long-time allies now distrust them.
That I worry about US-citizen musician friends living in that violent, volatile, amoral country.
@randahl I missed so much contend of yours, I thought you were on vacation. Do you know why your posts are rarely in my timeline for like 2 weeks? I checked, I am still following you.
@Ilka4You I have been working almost nonstop, finishing the new video, so I have in fact been posting a lot less than normal.
When I start researching and writing a new script, I sometimes need a break and then I often make a post here.
But in the last part of the process, when editing the video, I am in a "flow state" where I can work for many hours without interrupting. "In the zone", as someone calls it.
That is why I post less.
@randahl oh I didn't mean it in this way. I clicked on your profile and saw I missed a lot of contend, even a couple of videos. I noticed, because I really like your view on things. 🙂
And I can rely to the "being in the zone" my most productive and fun phases. 😃
