I could scale the VPS up to more cores & RAM again, temporarily. But I don't wanna.
Maybe they'll go away in a few hours.
Or, I could scale it up, and not worry about my services being overloaded until I make iocaine's firewalling thing deployable.
So on one hand: I can scale up temporarily, and not worry, and remove a small source of stress.
On the other hand: I can keep things as is, save some money, and have more motivation to finish the firewall code.
Slightly higher cost but less stress and lower motivation vs lower cost but higher stress and higher motivation.
Another way to look at it: how much is my mental health worth?
Can I convince myself that scaling up is not giving in to the crawlers?
