It is legitimately among the most entertaining films I've ever seen.
I was going through well liked short films from the early days of cinema that I hadn't yet seen.
There aren't many! I've seen well over half of the well received and reasonably preserved short films made prior to 1910.
Somehow, this one had slipped by me, though.
So I watched it for the first time a day or two ago. It was really great.

This is Alice Guy's Race for the Sausage from 1907
I love early film. I love movies in general, really, but I've watched a lot of early films, but this one feels less like something from 1907 and more like something that'd be shot for youtube or instagram in 2017.
