Just hours after an e-mail revealed Trump was with an Epstein victim at Epstein's house, Trump defender Megan Kelly starts moving the goal posts to, "He was not a pedophile […] He liked 15-year-olds […] He wasn't into 8-year-olds […] There is a difference."
She is trying to white wash child sex trafficking and child rape the day after she finds out Trump was likely abusing a trafficked girl.

@Maxfieldripken in the US the age of consent is state dependant. For instance, in Connecticut the age of consent is 13, in Florida it is 16, and every state has its own specific laws about how this works.

@Maxfieldripken I am not an expert on this legislation, but as I understand it, reaching the age of consent means, that person can legally consent to sexual activity with any other individual, unless that other individual is in a position of authority (e.g. a school teacher).
But Megan Kelly bringing up the age of consent is just an ill intended derailment of the topic, because in the Epstein case, the victims — no matter their age — were trafficked, coerced, and subjected to violence.
Randahl, in most (maybe all?) states there is a range of ages when teens can consent to have sex with each other but if an adult tries to have sex with a teen, it's still illegal
the law has to allow for teens' natural right to explore each other without allowing the adult creeper a wedge to lie & say the teen consented & create all kinds of drama & doubt that allows them to get away with abuse

Memo to Megyn Kelly: An adult having sex with a 15-yr-old - to whom they are not married - is still a felony. There's no such thing as consent: minors are legally incapable of giving it.
And that's before you get into child sex trafficking and whatever business Epstein was promoting for which criminal sex was the lubricant.
