Abusing friends and family for work, lack of empathy for anyone who isn’t them, the privilege of money meaning they don’t need to worry about mundane things like clothing, feeding themselves and maintaining their living space (things that all of us do in our “spare” time outside work).

And they convince themselves that they are making “our” lives better!

@TheBreadmonkey That’s absolutely bonkers. I mean, I love my job and sometimes get in "the zone" and work too long. But if someone sees I'm still logged on, they'll say, "Alex, wtf log out and enjoy your evening/weekend/etc." and I snap out of it. Work is important, but so is the everything else. How sad that they don't have anything else going for them.
