"Six people died and more than 700 were injured after an extratropical cyclone hit Paraná between Friday afternoon (7) and early Saturday (8). The phenomenon generated a tornado that devastated Rio Bonito do Iguaçu, a town of 14,000 inhabitants located 380 km from Curitiba. According to the state government, more than 1,000 residents are displaced or homeless."
