@neil Sausage or not LLMs go brrrrrr
Discussion
@neil No one disagree about banning this tho there seems to be a worry over this leading to a slippery slope towards banning stuff that should not be banned .
Some think this could lead to a ban on LGBTQ content (that seems very unlikely) https://www.reddit.com/r/europe/comments/1oo0ik5/pornography_depicting_strangulation_to_become/nn1apfx/
This may be more to do with the huge distrust towards Labour as a whole.
@neil I also read this, and the article says it is technically illegal already. I wonder what enforcement will actually look like though
@neil honestly, I'm generally opposed to government overreach, particularly when it comes to sexuality, but I'm struggling to be too upset by this one. It's insanely dangerous.
@neil surprised it doesn’t cover drawn/artistic representation too. That seems very fashionable for this shit-shower of a government.
@neil I find the headline interesting. "Online", but possession "Offline" would also be an offence.
More a comment on how pervade "online" is, and how a mass media org couldn't conceive of offline than anything
@neil If this will make it (rightly) illegal to view in the UK, it seems a bit of a backfire to have just made the majority of UK porn viewers pretend they are in another country using a VPN.
@neil I assume real choking and simulated choking during the "act" between two adults isn't illegal?
@neil Make them stop attacking porn.
@neil
I think something similar in regards to choking/breath-play was attempted in Britain before - maybe 12 years ago.
Along with, for some non-obvious reason, depictions of female ejaculation / "squirting".
