JetBrains will be opting all free IDE users into sharing their program code to train JetBrains’s AI models.
Today I’m blocking JetBrains IDEs in our MDM. Then we can turn it back on for employees who show that they have a paid license and it’s configured to opt out of the sharing.

@tek extremely disappointing news from a company whose products I preferred and who I had a lot of respect for in the past #JetBrains
@deutrino I never particularly cared for their stuff. It wasn't a good fit for my working preferences. I know a lot of people absolutely adored it, though, and it's a shame to see them throw it away.
@tek yeah, it's a love or hate kinda thing, I found JetBrains to be vastly better than the other full-fat IDEs I'd used before, and their products would've been my first choice if I was gonna get back into any large project and didn't want to do a ton of research on latest IDEs first. sigh.
