#ClimateDiary Just wanted to reflect here a bit on how I seem to be going through my longest phase yet of, somehow, well, not caring so much about climate change. I hope this will end, but it’s given me a lot more insights and understanding of others who do not care - whether they ever used to or not. Everyone has different reasons of course, but for me broadly two factors have come together here
1. Overall state of world. I feel so profoundly gloomy about so many things that 1/3
#ClimateDiary 2/3 I think subconsciously i have rea ch d conckusion that, well, other things will unravel first, or at least alongside the climate, or are already unraveling.
2. When i really cared about climate and mobilised everything around this, i had the great, great privilege of a (i thought) secure job. Now i have three part time fixed term and not particularly well-paid jobs. I am doing ok, but I can’t deny that this is having a huge impact on my ability to care about climate.
