@codinghorror I am shocked that streaming platforms don't seem to do any validation on music submissions. This problem of fake songs and albums is rampant on Spotify and Tidal. And they don't even offer a report button.

@Gargron @codinghorror the number of times Tidal has said “new release by Athlete” and I’ve nearly had a heart attack, then it turned out to be some shitty apparition of electronica or low-budget rap…I’m not pleased
@isaaclyman @codinghorror If only Deezer fixed their last.fm integration I would switch. They're the one app I know of that actually does have a report button.
@Gargron @isaaclyman @codinghorror#Deezer has a report button but you get zero feedback if you make a report. Feels like shouting into the wind. Reported a fake single from #DorianElectra that's been up since July with an obviously not the artist album cover. Crickets so far.
