I went looking for this article https://www.technologyreview.com/2022/04/06/1048981/worldcoin-cryptocurrency-biometrics-web3/, started with a search for "worldcoin orb", got a bunch of positively spun pages about how great it's going to be for distinguishing humans from AI. Added "cash payouts" to the search and it's all news about progress in the token model.
Save your critical reporting folks, those articles get harder to find (even on alt search engines)

@davidgerard There was a lot of chat in various forums a few years back, along the lines of “How do I pivot my crypto server farm to AI?” and yep it’s exactly the same folks, bringing the same morals along with them.
