It's 2025, FFS. We should get one (1) European release, with all the relevant subs and dubs, including the original language. Free to switch, turn on or off, no baked-in nonsense, no more ordering in the UK just to escape the forced localisation, and get English subs.

Next on the list, The Dude abides in 'The Big Lebowski', which premiered at Sundance closer to the first anniversary of the Stonewall riots than to today.
Since I had moved past sleep, I figured I would just watch 'The Big Lebowski', which I am pretty sure I bought years ago because it was cheap and I wanted to see what the memes were about.
This must be the second time? And the last time again, at least for a little while, since it's not really a recurring type of favourite 😂
I am skipping 'Birds Of Prey And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn', because DCU, both Black Panther movies because MCU (RIP, Chadwick Boseman, you are gone too soon), and the Black Widow movie, also MCU.
Which means 'Blackhat' is next on the list. Chris Hemsworth plays a hacker of sorts, if recollection serves, and it also stars Viola Davis, our one true queen 🙇🏻♀️
As far as hacker movies go, 'Blackhat' is not terrible on the tech. Most of it is pretty plausible, even if the overall story is still, you know, a Hollywood movie.
We get Bluetooth dead drops, lots of CLI typing, bulletproof hosters, requiring physical access to get in, social engineering, etc.
I'm honestly not sure why it has such low ratings, to be honest, this must be the fourth or fifth time I have watched it, and it's still quite entertaining.
The next one on the list will be 'Body of Lies', a spy flick starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Russell Crowe, Mark Strong, and quite a few other actors that I like.
I think what I thought 'Body of Lies' was about is actually the plot of 'Spy Game', which is another grizzled CIA veteran with younger protegé type of movie.
It's not bad, but also sort of of its time, made at the height of the 'war on terror' in that decade after 9/11, and just not really worth a rewatch at this point.
Perhaps 'Spy Game' will be better when I get around to it, since it was made before that. Although I think the DVD I had it on got damaged.
Next up, the first movie I ever watched with at least one of my parents present; 'The Bodyguard', starring Kevin Costner and Whitney Houston.
