We shouldn't abandon a good name just because people misuse it, but imho it's not a good name.
Yes, I've read the arguments from Giorgos Kallis and Erin Remblance on why degrowth is a good name. I disagree, I'm with Raworth on this one: https://systemicalternatives.org/2017/09/01/has-degrowth-outgrown-its-own-name/
Trumpism and recession are not the only ways degrowth gets misapplied. For some reason unknown to me, Indian news outlets have started using it to describe market activity.
