if american resistance is relying on legit upcoming elections to stop this then i think they missed the part where their dictator takes over a city because he doesn't like seeing homeless people.

@brood Americans are so deeply alienated from real history, insulated by generations of privilege and exceptionalism that they still fail to grasp what is happening. "It can't happen here."
Those that do get it have lived in a generational bubble of white, middle-class comfort, convenience and civic non-participation. They don't know how to resist. Organize? Take initiative? Fight back? General Strike?
They still think a twice a month protest will do it.
