It's all edits at the moment (unless you count my journal). But I got through a chunk of "Untied" - the sequel - which I'm pleased with.

When I started, that would have been personified math. Still exists on Tapas, but never caught on.
Now, "Time & Tied" is the flagship, as it's the one I'm currently writing the sequel for, the one I use with prompts, and it even led to me having short stories published.
Carrie is a cheerleader who becomes a vessel for great temporal power. Time shenanigans everywhere.

#WebAuthorsCafe Wk Aug 11: Prefer fanfiction or original work?
Twenty-five years ago I preferred fanfiction. It was great, no world building involved (I dislike doing that) and you already have people searching for it.
The past ten years, I've preferred original works. Most of my knowledge is out of date, and I don't have time to upgrade it to recent works. Urban fantasy lets me dodge around (most) world building, and I avoid upsetting anyone should I write against canon.

Yes. And no. There’s a lot to unpack.
The main reason I write this way is I grew up with shows like “Babylon 5” and “Quantum Leap”. Self contained episodes having a different event or character focus. Yet B5 is *serialized*, as there is an arc or order, while QL is *series* based, you can scramble entries and it still makes sense.

I think at its core, a serial involves an existing universe where short stories could take place. (YMMV) Consider, even Holmes started as a novel before he hit the big time with serialized cases.
This means my “Epsilon Project” qualifies. However, within that serial universe, each story itself comprises about 15 installments. A serial within a serial? (Yo dawg, I heard you like serials so...) Or is it releasing a novel chapter by chapter - on the fly? (2/6)
