Feral bee swarm update: Kid installed the bees, but either they didn't get dumped hard enough, or they didn't like it and eventually absconded. 😭 I didn't lock them in bc I didn't want them to stay if something was wrong with the hive, I'd rather them leave and survive. We still have them coming and getting sugar syrup/bee food that I put in, but the swarm left. ☹️ Maybe next time. Fun adventure while it lasted. Now we have somewhere to put them immediately, if we ever get another chance. 😅
